h100i led broken?

Hello everyone,

So I recently built my new computer included in the parts i had purchased a corsair 100i because i heard there supposed be great and i do by allot of corsairs products. i noticed having it on white all the time the colour started to go a slight greany yellow colour so i started corsair link and moved the led colours about then put it back to white, a few days later i noticed the light had go on a very faint red colour and then the light went out i checked my temps and that the pump was still working and its all fine but the led just doesn't work. i don't really want to take it off and get a RMA because i will be with out a computer for a while. dose any one know if i can fix this myself, what i can do about it or any ideas.

try uninstaling link2 and reinstalling
is this your only link kit?

don't you have the box cooler laying around? else if it doesn't bother you much just keep it.

also make sure you have the lastest usb firm wear but not the h100i firmware as there is problems if youd like i can put links to the files you need

What problems are reported on the h100i firmware? I haven't had any problems with mine.

"apparently" the lastest firmware for the H100i was recalled in several hours as it was ment for the PSU's in their i range. I came across that news while trying to sort my rig out ... which still is only at 90% what i wanted from my i kits

i am unsure about all this firmware stuff on the h100i i downloaded the corsair link software and started using it and it seemed alright untill now. do you have any links to get the firmware? thanks for your help

Well i will have to find a box cooler out and get an RMA sorted if i cant find a solution

near the bottom of that thread is the drivers and they are fine i used them... i was more concerned with getting my commander to work but i can do pretty much everything after following that guide

It seems to happen more often. I suggest following that corsair forum link and if that fails, RMA that thing!
