guide showing how to install a dvd-rw

is there any decent guides out there showing how to install a dvd-rw in a computer ?

preferbly with many pictures.

Umm... just install it like a normal optical drive. You know, screw it into the drive bay and plug in the IDE cable. Can't remember if there are jumpers you need to worry about for optical drives... If there are though, make sure they are set right.

well its easy for me and you but for my sister which barely has looked inside a computer and dont even can say where the cpu is it isnt an easy task and i cant help her as she lives in birmingham.

Well you should have specified that in the first post! Try looking at this one. I haven't really looked through it at all since I'm at school right now, but I'm sure it'll do just fine.

You can't ring her on the tellie and walk her through the process step by step? It shouldn't take but 10 minutes or so.

would rather not call her as i only have a cellphone and those aint cheap to use.

well she is actually not as bad as i make it sound but the more info about it th ehigher the success rate should be.
