A little guide on how to move your User folder to another drive, Quite useful especially when you want to save space on your SSD.
So the first step is to make a new Admin User account, Click on the start orb, Open up control panel, go to User Accounts and click on "Manage Accounts" once there click on the option near the bottom of the window called "Add A New User" -
Call it what ever you like but I find just Temp is best.
Once you have created the new account restart your computer and log in to the new account, The reason I say restart and not just log out is because certain files may still be in use by the original admin account.
Now once you have logged into your new admin account go to "My Computer" and click on "Organize" and then on to "Change Folder and Search options" -
Now click on the "View" tab and make sure "Show Hidden Folders" is selected -
Now once you have done that go into the User folder which should be on your C drive and copy all of the folders except the Temp account, Even the ones meant to be hidden, Which now won't be as we made them visible.
Next you want to make a folder on the drive you want to move these to called "Users", Don't put it inside any other folders just put it directly on the drive i.e X:\Users.
Once you have done that copy and paste all of the folders over to the new User folder.
Next you want to bring up Regedit, Just open up the start menu and type in regedit and it will come up in the start menu list as a little blue'ish looking block, Image below -
Once you have opened it up you want to go to the following location within it.
Now select "ProfileList" and change ALL that have the word "User" in them by selecting that line and changing the %SystemDrive% to, For example - X:\Users\Default instead of %SystemDefault%\Users\Default
Once that is done go down to the next line that has roughly 20 numbers and letters in it as shown in the the below image and change your User directory to the new one, Example - X:\Users\Dicehunter
Once you have done that, Reboot, Log into your original admin account and if you followed the guide you should be up and running.
Once you are logged on go back to the control panel user account settings and delete the "Temp" account as well as all files associated with that account.
Now you can also go back into C drive and delete the original User folder which should give you a nice 1GB+ depending on how much you have saved i.e save games etc...
I hope this small guide is useful to someone
This was done on Windows 8.1 but the options should be fairly similar on all Windows operating systems.
