Guest post area

Well,
We can dedicate an area (i.e off topic area - or new area) that guest have permissions to post in.
However, you do quite often get idiots that thik its funny to post a load of crap in the public areas of the forum, and sometimes people write scripts that go around a load of forums checking for areas open to guests, and then just put their adverts in there.
What might be a better idea, is a quick registration form on the homepage, so they only need to fill in thier username/password/email to be registered?

exactly! you need to BAN these people! and guests can't be banned
