GTX275 & Furmark Overclocking!

As above chaps, it's regarding using Furmark to check my overclocking is stable. I have never really used a program to check for stabiity and just run Crysis & Warhead as it normaly find a unstabe OC within seconds.

Now what i need to know, how long do i need to leave Furmark running before i can say it's stabe? Also, what are safe temps for this card when overclockng?

I have set it to...

640x480

stabiity test

not fulscreen.

Cheers chaps

Haha. Id say running a full test should be enough to find a unstable overclock. You could use something like ATi Tool

Not sure whats going on here but so far i have...

Core - 700

shader -1465

memory 1200

Now for some reason i'm strugging to go over 700 and i'm not sure what the issue is. I can set say 720 on the core in rivatuner click appy then when i go back it's reverted back to 700? any ideas? driver issue maybe?

The card is an Asus GTX275

Also, i can not get the shaders any higher without a BSOD, surely they shoud go higher?

Your getting better clocks than me. Using an Asus GTX275, watercooled, and goes unstable after abour 685 on the core. Can get the memory running a bit faster though.

But like somebody else said, I use ati tool and its a nice easy way to test.

Well i managed to get 720 on the core last night which was 100% stable and i'm sure there is more to go. The shaders have left me confused as when i go higher than 1465 it fails, i remember my GTX260 shaders going a fair bit more than reference.

What do you have your memory at? I sort of settled with 1200 as i never really ike pushing the GFX memory on my cards.

Cheers by the way everybody else.
