GTX 980 pictured?

Not to mention the "Ferrari" you've ordered and the other claims you've made.

Indeed it would be nice to see proof, I could say I just bought a D&G suit for a measly sum of £10,000 pocket change and now I'm off to an evening of wine with the head of the Russian ballet and then we shall dine on diamond encrusted plates, Lined with platinum and have Fabergé eggs as take home gifts ^_^

If you buy something expensive and then post it on these forums then posting a picture in the purchase thread you took yourself is the expected thing to do i.e when I have my expensive water cooling set up properly I will post a picture I take myself.

If someone claimed they had a Ferrari I'd want to see a pic of them sitting in the Ferrari holding a card up that said OC3D as proof, Anyone can say they have anything on the net.

I wish the shroud for these new cards came completely black.

Take the shroud apart, Clean it, Lightly sand it, Paint it in your choice of colored enamel paint *Enamel only if it's metal standard plastic paint for plastic* Wait for it to dry for 2 hours *24 if it's plastic* Put it in the oven for 1 hour at a low heat *Only if it's metal* and there you go, Black shroud ;)

Haha I could paint it. I just wonder why NVIDIA goes with silver black and green when almost everything, including their logo is just black and green. I would think that as a style choice they would move towards that color scheme for their reference cards.

Just to add to that, Evatech has acquired more early hands on photos of the GTX 980

Just looks like a tweaked version of the current 700 series cooler, Which is a good thing :)

I do hope they bring out a 980 Ti that makes the 780 Ti look like a fisher price toy ^_^

Well silver and black is neutral were as all black is quite dominant looking and might not go with all system themes :)

Maybe, since the 900 series rumours are so underwhelming, we finally can figure out why they skipped the 800 series. Personally I think its because they wanted to do 700, then a small upgrade, then BANG a new series of epic cards. It would make more sense to have this new series be called the 1000 series, than 900. Maybe this makes no sense, but thats what I think.

The backplate looks a lot better in those pics than it does in the others.

The iChill 980 looks pretty damn sexy

Daaayum, if it performs as well as the current gen iChill cards nvidia have really done wonders with the chip.

If you guys noticed, it has 2x8pin PCIE connectors. Wonder if it will help at all with the OC'ing

I think I've seen a few 980 cards with dual 8pin connectors. I suppose it would help with OCing, as well as powering the additional fans on the card. Its kind of like the 750ti, for which vendors added more power connectors for OC headroom.
