GTX 980 pictured?

Sweet, I'll like having that one. The important thing for me is performance, I don't care if it's mounted on chipboard if it performs well. You can always change the appearance if that's your thing. I like carbon fiber and stainless steel overlays myself.

Is that your rig ?

Skipping this one and waiting for the full fat Maxwell i.e 980 Ti, For 780 Ti owners I highly doubt the 980 based on it's specs will be that much faster if at all considering one of the leaks was that it isn't meant to compete with the 780 Ti but rather the 780.

Lol what's wrong with your 780 Ti? :p

Yes, hello. My name is Dicehunter's brother.

Yeah, obviously when you have to choose between the two for a new build you'd pick the GTX 980 but for you guys on a 780 Ti it makes no sense to upgrade. I'm curious how the mid-range cards will perform as wellconsidering the 750 Ti overclocks like a madman :)

Oh btw, for all those who asked, no that is not BigBlue's rig. I don't know why, but the image she posted is a cropped screenie from a Newegg video :)

On another note; Should I stick with the backup rig (ie, no games) for a while longer and wait for a GTX 960? :(

I hate that ugly case :P

I just searched for nvidia 4 way sli to find it. :)
If it was mine you wouldn't see any wires leading to those cards. (or anywhere else for that matter. Wires = Ugly.

Why skip this one?? Buy this issue and when the new ones are released, upgrade, it's why they are removable after all, you aren't stuck with the one you have ion there now. :)

Damn, she's so advanced she's got a wireless power supply

Erh, why would anyone drop 500 quid on a 1-5% upgrade?

We need pics of your setup :D

Also I honestly don't see the point of upgrading if the performance leap isn't upwards of 25% and I'm not talking power usage or temperatures, That's a separate issue.

I use to in the past but it really is pointless, Best upgrade path is every 2nd generation that way you see the biggest performance gains and are pleasantly surprised :)
