GTX 980 and GTX 970 have been listed on Synnex. The listing reveals that Gigabyte is working on a G1 Gaming GTX 970 and a reference GTX 980.
Both, GTX 980 and GTX 970 have 4GB 256bit memory configuration.
There have been a few benchmark runs posted online of the GTX 980/970. If they are real, then the performance is a bit disappointing.
