GTX 750 Ti PPD

I thought core 17's wouldn't work on Maxwell until NVidia updated its drivers...

Have you installed new GPU drivers?

All it needed was the core update which they released before but took it off due to SOME bogus reasons (GK106 750ti oem works GM107 doesn't but it does really) & no driver update needed.

If people still experience crashing then they should look at their own systems and not point the finger @ the folding core / drivers.

Just checked my client & my 750ti has finally grabbed a Core17 again, wonder if they listened to us on the forums regarding the said issues? (probably not lol) anyway i about fell out the chair  sadly the ppd on this 9201 wu is alittle low as its only showing 30k, even my 660ti is struggling on one as well BUT anything is better than Core15 8018's

The current batch of 9201's have been reported in the beta forums as getting very low PPD, approximately 50%.

There is a thread on the 9201 WU's in the beta section...

So things have settled down now on the 9201 & ppd is just under 63k (21.7k per wu)

Nice ppd for a 60W card - do you expect the numbers to get better or is that about right? Do you know if the core was released for Linux as well?

I think for the current batch of 9201's this is all i can expect but as we saw 2months back the 750ti is capable of over 110k ppd given the right wu and that wasn't even using the cards full potential.

As for Linux i haven't got a clue, sorry.

So with the release of Core 18 once again certain Maxwell cards are spitting wu's out left right and centre so they've blocked Maxwell cards again from getting anything other than shitty Core 15 8018's (well its all i can get)

:cussing::banghead:

It was working fine on Core 17 until Core 18 and that is producing the exact same symptoms as Core 17 did at the very start....wu's won't even start before they get dumped.

Yes definitely, i've seen it before and that was only using 70% of the cards power as well.

EDIT: Thought I'd try again since i've not bothered folding any Core 15 wu's the past few days & low & behold it's managed to pick up a Core 17 wu so all is well again, whether it continues to do so remains to be seen lol

So what's the current status of your 750 cards? Any failed WU's? Are you still getting a mixture of 15's & 17'S? What's your PPD?

Thankfully back on Core 17 atm, 9202's are pulling around 63k ppd & it's never failed one either unlike my GTX 660 which likes spitting out quite afew 9202's :confused:

Hey sheroo, I'm still picking up the odd core 15 (I'm folding a 7622 at the moment) but for the most part I'm getting core 17 work units now. With a light overclock 9202's are turning out around 70k PPD which is nice. I haven't had any issues with dropping WU's either.

Cheers!
