Hi guys,

So i just received my EVGA gtx 670 FTW for my new build and threw it in my old rig to check all was well. About a second after the desktop loaded I got a beautiful Red screen. It didnt completely crash as I was still able to blindly shut it down. I tried a few things like uninstalling afterburner etc to no avail and then rolled back to 301.25 from 301.40. Everything appears to be fine now. Anyone else have a 670 and finding the latest drivers problematic?

have you tried removing your old drivers with driversweeper or something similar and then installing the new drivers. I would suggest re-downloading it before hand.

Yeah I do driver sweeper each time anyway just in case. But I did try a re-install after driver sweeper, didn't seem to make a difference.

unfortunate. Just stick with the old drivers until they release new ones. with all the new cards coming out it won't be to long.

Yeah its not a massive problem or anything I just thought it was interesting and wondered how wide spread it was. Im sure they will sort it out in a later release like you say.

i had the same problem (GTX670 DCII TOP), but it happened the moment after i install asus gpu tweak

Have you tried any others like afterburner? Ive read a few threads about gpu tweak and precision causing this problem. Its a shame the drivers appear to cause it for me :s I might try the new beta ones and see how they perform.

Yeah I'm using afterburner now, I just have experience in which asus gpu tweak is easier to use. but it's no biggy, maybe the new drivers will fix it
