Green Eggs and Ham
Okay so as you can see the build looks pretty much finished. The initial idea of this build was to make something that anyone with a file and a medium sized wallet could accomplish, now that i think I've done that its time to look into the little things that set apart a simple nice looking setup from a work of art.
Ill show you some images and underneath them describe what I'm going to change or, what i need a second opinion on.
If people want i could also post some videos of techniques have learnt when making this delightful breakfast dish.
The side panel: I really have no idea what i want to do with this, part of me actually likes the mesh semi hidden look, Another part of me is saying cut out a bigger hole and put a window in. What does everyone else think, I could make an entirely new side panel, but that has been done so many times before. I would then also find it allot harder to properly light the case up.
The Top: I don't think there is anything wrong here I don't have a picture of it but the white fans look great through the mesh. Again if anyone has any ideas throw them at me.
Interior: So as you can see the cables need to be sleeved, to do this I'm first going to try the cheepo method of using black electric tape, ill post an image of what it looks like, if people think it looks horrible ill get some heat shrink.
The biggest thing that obviously needs to be changed is the tubing, as you can see the tube that runs from the CPU block to the top 360 rad is far clearer than all the other tubing. That tubing is Tigon and the other tubing is Promochill, so unless you are running pastel ice white or some pastel blue, heads up Promochill is not the clearest of the lot.
When changing the tubing I'm also thinking of adding a 120mm rad at the back of the case and having the fan possibly run on the outside of the case (which would make it flush with the 600t's overhang, i would really appreciated peoples opinion on this as I know that this can both make or break a build. I'm worried about it clattering it up which is the opposite of what i want.
HDD and tubing: As you can see i wasn't happy with a mere 128Gb SSD so I found a spot to hide a 2tb HDD. What I'm thinking for this area is potentially replacing the 240 rad at the front with a 360 rad, or a fatter 240 rad. If it works i think it will be awesome.
SSD mounting: I just used some double sided tape, did the trick i think. Once again give your opinion on what i could do, alternate places to put it, whatever.
In this picture you can also see what i have done to all the interior fans sleeving, it didn't cost anything at all and was fairly simple so if people want me to show them how i did that i can put a video up.
I should also add a thank you to Tom for suggesting the 360 rad underneath the top of the case, it made modding a whole lot less complicated and the fans look a whole lot nicer on the top. Also the idea of a 240 rad at the front, lets just see if i can squeeze a 360 in there some time soon.
