Hey! Another random question thats probably been answered, but i`m dressing it up a different way coz the way i`m approaching the subject is slightly different...I think.
I know SLI doesnt do much *from reading* at low resolutions. I`m limited to 1280x1024 for now, but I`ve been wondering about how SLI works.
If I had 2 7800GTs for example.I`d have a total of 40 pixel pipes, 512 memory, 14 vertex pipes and 32 ROPS in total. Not to mention 2 cores processing. Would this setup decimate any current single card in actual gaming, regardless of resolution? AA and AF settings can be anything for this idea. Why is SLI limted at lower resolutions? is it CPU lmited? *That bits probably online..will go trawling*
Would this setup be unsupassed in actual gaming compared to any other single card?
