Graphics card help

Hi

I need some help choosing a graphics card to suit:

E8500

Biostar Tpower I45 ( crossfire mobo)

4gb OCZ gold 1066 ddr2 ram

I would prefer it to be better than:

E8500

Asus p5N-T deluxe

4gb OCZ 1066 ddr2 ram

gtx 285

As this is my alternative to buy...

Also if you see anything else i could change to make it better please say.

What resolution are you going to be running at? Do you plan to go SLi or XFire in the future?

The aforemention questions are pretty important in deciding what sort of card you'll need, and whether you want to purchase from nVidia or ATi.

Better than a proposed GTX285 ?

As some1 who doesn't favor sli/xfire, I find it hard.

Purchasing wize perhaps a 4870x2 or GTX280, although if u not wanting a 285 I can't see u going for a 280.

4870x2 kicks some serious butt.

U could go 4870 single card and add another one l8r in xfire.

(wouldn't be my personal choice tho)

i think the 4870 is a good card and if you have a crossfire mobo

The GTX275 is a goo price/performance competitor. If value is in mind the GTX275 is better then the GTX285, but if you simply want the best single GPU out the GTX285 will be it.
