If you keep within the limits, i.e. don't unlock MSI Afterburner, you'll be fine

Afterburner's also useful for setting custom fan profiles, so you should definitely check it out when you have time.

You can try this guide by Guru3D, it's solid theory, and has a section with MSI AB.

The better bet is to use MSI Afterburner over CCC. Just move the Power Limit to +20%, and make small incremental increases on your core and memory clock (I like to do it in steps of 10MHz, it's slow but that's my way). A tool like Heaven can stability test your OC. Keep going till you get artifacts. My explaination is a little too bref but just search the net for some information yourself and you should be good to go!

If your PSU is up for it, do it. You can mess with voltages too but I don't know if you want to go down that avenue
