Ok So I got up about 30 minutes ago to turn PC on, haven't touched it in 30 minutes, my GPU temps are 69/70 - 62/63, I have opened GPU-Z and both cards are on 0% load..... Top fan is at 54% bottom at 50%
I ran the heaven benchmark just to see what the load temps would be, top card got 91 bottom 87
Seems strange, after the short time I was folding with them, that my idle temps are so high

EVGA Precision is like Afterburner. Maby it'll give better fan % readings etc: http: http://www.evga.com/precision/Default.asp
Got to 'sign-up' to get it.
We can make cuser defined fan profiles in the settings with Precision and AB and if you hit RESET in AB it'll disable the user defined fan setting.
Recently with Afterburner I've found after LP gaming the core clocks dont idle, they stay at 701+mhz. If I close AB and open it they drop to 405mhz. That 480's

Just noticed that both cards core clocks are staying at 782, not idling for some reason
Ok I have figured something out, just don't know how to fix it, Windows Live Messenger is stopping my GPU's from idling, everytime I shut down messenger my temps and core clocks of the gpu go down, I open messenger they go back up again, never used to be like this?

Hi,
I think you made a post writing you changed Power Management Mode to Prefer Maximum Performance from Adaptive. I think that'll lock the core frequency at max and you can select indervidual programmes to use it. Ye I remember it's on the GTX 580 thread
About 1 year ago i used the control pannel to enhance MW2 graphics and it made a problem. First I re-installed the game, still the problem then I reset control pannel settings, still the problem then i deleted and installed the NVIDIA driver and it fixed it. The control Pannel isn't perfect. If you configure SLI re-start the PC or you may get errors like windows flickering or worse

Just CPU at the mo, but will start GPU's soon
