GPU SCAM on ebay

I have no idea what that card ACTUALLY is, but its clearly not a 770. i do love how the listing states: "Cooling Components - Fan Only" followed shortly by "Cooler Type - Water Cooler".

Reported it, but its sad that so many people are already watching it. Hopefully nobody goes ahead and buys it, but then that's just wishful thinking

EDIT: The PCB in the Pics of the 650 actually looks legit though. that being said, they do refer to it as both a 650 and 650 ti

so many people got scammed, read the reviews on Ali shop thing. They pay far over what the nvidia 8xxx series gpu is worth.

I never saw a gtx 650 or the "ti" version with "ddr3" ram before :D

Has nobody noticed that they all say they have GDDR3 ram as opposed to the GDDR5 that they should have

Did anyone notice the box picture with Radeon AND Nvidia?

I bought the gtx 780 variant http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171322806554?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 .

I took the card apart and looked up the memory, it turns out it was an old AMD card with a flashed 780 BIOS on it. I knew it was most likely a fake, 6 pin to power a 780 isn't feasible but I was curious. It was funny how the seller shipped it in an old AMD box too, presumable the cards actual box as it seemed to look like it fit the same period of time I believe the card was from.

Dw I got a refund and negative feedbacked the seller after the buyer kept denying he was trying to sell fake goods.

Actually spending £120 to prove someone else is a scammer. Kudos fella.

Did you contact eBay that the seller has a lot more ads that aren't quite right, just like this one?

I like how the seller claims that the 780 is "OEM", meaning directly from Nvidia. How dumb could somebody be to buy an "OEM" card from some guy on Ebay...

I've modified my 780 BIOS and changed it to a Titan Z. It sprouted another GPU and a few more gigs of VRAM.

What exactly are the benefits from modding a bios to that of another card? I never really understood why people do this.

Erhm well, there really aren't any afaik. Unless you mean actually flashing a new/custom bios on your card that may unlock voltage regulation and such.
