GPU power consumption always at 44% ?

Hello there, I have GTX780 and for about a week now my GPU power consumption has been at 44% and this is causing my idle temps to be around 43c. I recently updated GeForce Experience and everything went back to normal until today. Does anyone know what is causing this to happen ?

Thanks, Dario.

1) Switch off ShadowPlay (if U R not using it),
2) Check system for "illegal miners".
Task Menager should give U clues about what's making GPU sweat.

How's that?... as I can't see anywhere in my Task Manager where it shows information regarding my GPU. Only information regarding my CPU, memory, harddrive and network usage.

Thanks, turned off Shadowplay and it has went down to 11% (im running 2 screens so im guessing its using some of it for that). i did not know that Shadowplay used up your GPU even if you aren't recording. Thanks a bunch mate !!

Yeah that's all I see too, unless he means just to have a look and see if there is anything that shouldn't be there

How do you turn off Shadowplay or make sure it is off?... Is it in Geforce Experience?.

Probably so, just thought I'd mention it since I didn't see it anywhere and was a bit unsure of what he meant :)

Yeah just go into the GeForce Experience and you just select Shadowplay and turn it off :D
