Hi

I am going to be liquid cooling my EVGA GTX980 SC shortly and trying to up the performance via overclocking. I am just wondering what the favorite tools of the forum members are? I have HWMonitor, CPUID, GPUID and 3D Mark. I don't know witch tool to use setup the overclock. I have watched videos using ASUS GPU Tweak and EVGA Precision X software. Are the both good and either would work or do you guys have a preference?

The rig folds when I am not using it so trying to get the most PPD I can.

Thanks

They are all very similar, I always use the tool from the respective GPU vendor just because it makes me feel better. There's nothing wrong with Precision X, i've had a lot of good results with it.

Unigine Heaven should be on the list of benchmarks, it's quite easy to recognize when an overclock is reaching its limits in what feels like a slightly more forgiving way than 3d-mark. Plus it seems to involve far less waiting and far more pretty things.
