Hey all

ive got this problem that whenever i start my pc from cold the BIOS beeps tell me there is a GPU error

it is seated correctly and has the PCI-e power cords plugged in

i can solve this by rebooting a few times or by heating the GPU up with a hair dryer xD

if anyone can think off or suggest a fix for this it would help thanks

Sounds like a dodgy connection... When you heat it up something is expanding and allowing the proper connections to be made. Have you tried moving it to another slot?

ok ive try moving it to a different slot but still no luck

i heated it for a few seconds again tho and it worked fine

is there any way i can fix this like by really heating it up to see if it fixes

or is there a way to find PCB track errors e.g very small cracks

thanks

yes is still under warranty but one of the fan blades has broke and i have stuck it back on so i dont no if they will accept it

i can live with this problem its just a pain to have to warm it for a few seconds every day xD

How did then fan blade break? Can you make it look like it was when it broke off?
