gpu fan speed

Hey,

I am just wondering what the easiest way to change the gpu fan speed?

my fan speed suddenly skyrocketed without me doing anything and its realy noisy.

All help would be greatly apreciated

Also agree on the MSI program but isn't it better to find out what is causing the Fanspeed to go up ?

I re-installed the drivers, gonna check out afterburner if it happends again and no, the tempratur was only about 60 max...

I had a gtx 275. Not for long. Running a game like crysis, when the GPU was hot enough the fan went to max speed and stayed there, i'd turn off the game and leave the PC idleing, check'd it like 20 minutes later and it's still blowing at max. The retailer exchanged it

I agree, Afterburner will do the job, its what I use when I want manual fan control, But usually I just leave my 4890's on auto.

I just use the driver I think you have to install NVIDIA System Tools to get it to appear in nvidia's control panel
