GOW - ZenModz

Your fittings pic makes mine look like the crap you'd find at the bottom of a plumber's bag :D

Thanks AlienALX Now I feel bad :( But happy to hear you like them. :)

Are those hexagon things pump tops? I've not seen those before.

Hi the Hexagon res's are a limited edition run and are a standalone item. Its up to you what you do with them.

Jeeeesus Tits... the fittings are gonna be worth more than the hardware running the damn rig? That's a lot of bitspower...

[is not jealous at all... honest]

Hi SuB, Yes indeed. but you only live once. :) and I have always want to do a full water cooling build.

So... just a small build then?

Hello Davva2004, Mmmm Maybe just a bit bigger then some, But it's only a mid tower if that helps ?

I guess now I have a bit more work to do to the rest of the build to take all the focus of the hardware :(

Wish me luck! I'm starting to think I'm going to need it.

Hardware test fitting. Starting to flesh out the cooling, and getting all the hard lines set, As well as any mods that I need to do to the case before removing it all again to get ready to start painting the case.

THB I like the white as it is I wouldn't go making it red as it will be too much IMHO

I was thinking dark grey would look good.

Im thinking all black so the internal components pop out more. I do agree with above though, red would be too much if all the white is going to be resprayed.

I think all of the above would look good White, Gray. and Black. But you know me Im not exactly know for my clean looking builds :p And if you know me from my other builds. There is much more to come. it might look almost done. But im just getting started. So far this is all just a test fit to make sure evrything will work. then the case will be striped down, And then the mod's will continue as well as the painting some laser cutting and airbrushing.

Sofar all the mod's are done only using hand tools even the white front panel is cut out with my Dremel. But I starting playing around in Illustrator and want to try adding some laser cutting to the build as well and to help speed things up a bit.

The aim of this build is to crate a PC version of the new GoW X-box 1 Well some what.

The Texture below is somewhat how the outside of the case will be painted and some of the inside as well to blend it all in. The case will also have two glass side panels. and a all new look to the top of the case as well.

The back of the case will have a inside panel behind the MoBo tray and will have cutouts for the SSD's and Cabling to keep it all the same theme.

:D Still lots more to come.

Laser cutting and dremel work to add texture before painting starts.

The logo is only 80mm high so a lot of the fine detals like the lines in the teeth where lost so I hade to add them back. and I had to make a " F " for the " OF " with the dremel as it got stuffed up in the vectors some how. I have also linished to text to add texture to it once painted.

What fan controller are you using there?

I like the low profile approach of the fan heaers being 90degrees. I bought some from swiftech but those connect head on with the pcb so would stick out more than yours.
