So you are limited in terms of the size of modules and how many of them you can have, due to the frame. Its a bit dissapointing, but I guess it would be too difficult without any limitations of the frame.

Yes but any module can have any function, for example all of the rear modules could be power. Due to form factor restrictions there is a limit to the amount of modules, nut I don't see that as a negative.

Im sure that some modules will only be of a certain size. Imagine if you want more larger modules than smaller modules, but due to the frame, you need to do something (or nothing) with the smaller slots.

I think what they could possibly achieve is pretty amazing, I don't see how being limited to a form factor is disappointing? This applies to every device.

Its still really impressive, but its quite different from the original "phonebloks" concept. Its not exactly fully modular as you can only have a certain amount of modules of a certain size

Pretty neat. Too bad i won't pick up a new phone in the next few years, but when i do this will hopefully be a well rounded product. Never buy the first release.

I've been following this project for quite a while now, and the pace that they have kept to develop the hardware to its current standing is amazing, the amount of support they have from major manufacturing companies is outstanding, it seems everyone in the hardware market has been taking an interest in this project, and the sky is the limit is they can pull this off in a cost effective package for everyone out there, it stands to change the mobile market and the way that things are manufactured and brought to the shelves.

On a side note, anyone notice the cracked screen on the presentation device in the 1st video? (3 mins 25secs onwards)

been following this for a long while to. you'll always be limited in modules, just cant have them all but i do think that the limitation cause of the frame might be temporarily. Just by looking how fast they're going forward with the technology i think its just a matter of time. Lookin forward to this

Interesting, it's the first I've really seen of this, and it's got me interested. I like the idea of being able to remove and replace a module for a different occasion. I'm going to keep an eye on this now I think.
