Hey Guys!
I have been looking at this subject for a while now, and i still cannot decided im looking at a non LED fan for when i upgrade to my new case, seeing as i use a G1 Sniper M3 motherboard which is green and black, and the case im after is white (Odd combo ino but ill make it work xD) so im after a black fan which is good for fin cooling on the Zalman CNPS11X, ive had a look at some high CFM Fans but there db is like 40, also the RPM is like 3k which is too high in my opinion.
Ive had a look at sythe fans which are insanely fast but sound like a jet and noctua fans but again the colour wouldnt really go with the colour scheme am wanting, also Corsair SP120s dont really provide enough power for cooling in my personal opinion.
So i ask you people for help and suggestions :) ive been looking at these fans for 2 months now lol

Thanks in advance!!!

Scythe AP13s or AP14s should be quiet enough - if not, just whack a fan speed reducer on. They'll be your best option.

Otherwise the SPs are probably your best bet really.

If you're that bothered and picky enough to be saying SP120s aren't powerful enough - you should probably be thinking more about getting a better cooler really...

Ignore rated specs - every company out there lies.

More so for noise - you can measure noise from 100 meters away and have a 0db fan... There's no actual criteria for measuring it so all companies will lie.

You should be looking at RPM - or at least static pressure more for heatsinks.

Noctuas, Scythes, Bitfenix, Akasa Apache, Enermax, Silverstone, Corsair, BeQuiet -all good fans to choose.

I'm sure others will recommend more - that's just from what I've used and what I've seen others use on these forums.

Look for personal reviews of fans in performance tests and subjective noise tests rather than *objective* data...
I know that makes no sense - but I find you get more lies looking at the data than listening to someone's opinions of fans.
