OK so I just started my Aerospace Engineering degree, and looking at my planned schedule, I see they've got us going on the Flight Simulator latter part of October.
Basically I'm looking at getting a joystick and throttle which I could use with FS 2004/10 and FlightGear if I could get that working with it.
I've been thinking about getting the Saitek X52 here. At one time the price would have made me wince, but hey that's what student loans are for right?!
I need to brush up not just because of going in the flightsim, but because later on they will be sticking us in real aircraft and I have to pass a basic flight certificate otherwise I won't get my degree 
Does anyone have any recommendations in a similar price-range, can be seperates as well.
