computergeek New member May 4, 2013 #2 Yep as you get more cache on the Seagate instead of 16mb of cache you get 64mb. And it has double the transfer rate of the Hitachi so instead of 300mbps its 600mbps. But both have the same 7200rpm spindle speed.
