Going with the Flow

This is going to be a very nube question, but here goes...

Is there a particular why I'm supposed to setup the loop?

The loop would consist of a CPU, GPU (with RamCooler) and NB set of water blocks to the obvious pump, reservoir/radiator (Swiftech MCR220-QP-RES) and possible a second rad (Cape Cora 442 midi).

Going off several guides found around the net, am I right in thinking that I'd go from:

1. reservoir/radiator -> 2. Pump -> 3. CPU -> 4. NB -> 5. GPU - > 6. Second Rad -> 7. Back to (1)

well it depends who you ask as each person has there own preference. i use splitters to hit the cpu, gpu, and nb seperate others hit the cpu nb then gpu. and some even use 2 seperate loops one for the gfx and the other for the rest (if u have say 3 gtx 280s oc'ed). what cpu and gpu do you have?

well not all cards higher than the 88gtx are as hot or hotter. the main heaters are the 88gtx, 88 ultra, 98gtx, gtx 260, gtx 280.

These new cards should come with waterblocks on them.

I know that evga do this on some of their cards, if only more manufacturer did this it would defo be good for us as some of these blocks cost a fortune in some cases

Yh but if you look at the price difference between ones that do have Water blocks and ones that dont, the waterblock versions are a complete rip off lol

u mean the ones that come with them instead of heatsinks? if so i never buy those as i like to pick my own blocks and the like plus they overcharge for them.

Thanks for the advice guys, due to the size a my case I ended up going through the northbridge first (nearest one to the pump) and then to the cpu.

Trying my first watercooling attempt on my old (current) pc, if it all goes wrong, at least it'll give me an excuse to buy some new gear...

Has anyone tried the push in connectors (AquaComputers), got a load of those plastic clips for the tubing (god they're rubbish)

Half of em wouldn't stay on, so ended up ripping off the existing ones, now on the prowl for other alternatives, any suggestions...

the most common use is barbs others like myself use compression fittings they both cost about the same (at least here in the US).

I am setting up my first W/C but have decided to run two loops one for mobo and another for graphics, but I guess it all depends on how much heat your graphics produce, if they are anything like mine then they need much more cooling than my mobo and cpu, so running one loop would just increase my cpu temps.

Proberly a humble and nooby reply but there it is.
