Going to an AMD. Few questions.

Hi guys
I've just bought myself a new card (7970 Sapphire Dual x OC).
Now I've got a couple of questions about swapping in the new card. Because I'm currently using an Nvidia card, do I use the driver sweeper to get rid of the drivers for it? If so, any tips? Because I've seen people say do it in safe mode, don't bother doing it in safe mode, delete these drivers, don't delete those drivers.
So, help? haha

Also, any other general tips for swapping to a new card that's a different brand?

Just uninstall all nvidia software, you may have to reboot to get rid of all of it.

Once there are no nvidia programs listed in the Programs and Features page.

Uninstall the display driver in the device manager.

Use the driver sweeper.

Reboot with AMD card.

Install AMD drivers.

Something like that.
