Just thought I'd share my little mouse switch mod. This is the Glorious Model-i, It comes with very clicky switches but as I'm working at night a lot more those clicks soon become quite loud. No one seems to make a quiet mouse so I had a look around and saw that Kaihl make little switches that are much quieter/less obnoxious, Bought from Ali Express for a grand total of £1 for 10.
I had to desolder the old switches which were Glorious branded Kailh GM8.0 switches and these are Kailh 7.33mm silent micro switches, I had to shave a few microns off the top of the switch on the right click for it not to be activated all the time but now it works perfectly and the sound profile is much quieter, Infact the mic makes it sound even louder than it actually is.
So if there are any vendors that check these forums, Please make a quiet mouse, The market is flooded with loud clicky obnoxious mice, Give me something literally as quiet as a mouse.
