Gigabyte motherboard what to choose

Hey All

Im going to build a new pc here in just some days.

I have my mind set on this motherboard:
z97x-soc force - Well after TTLs Review its seem like the best of them.

But then i saw this board:
z97 ud5h-bk - fore me its seams like this is better value.

BUT what is the best choice?

Its going to be an 4790K that i put in there

Going to Game on the system, and maybe some small oc, not like i am going dry ice on this

Its all about the looks nothing else really.......

No point buying the SOC if you like blue. The Black Edition boards will look better in most set ups.

Well im going to something a little different with the colors
Like the orange, but i also like the yellow of the UD5H-BK.

But can´t see if its a Yellow or a more Golden color, do anyone have a z97UD board, to tell if its yollow or Golden

Your in luck, I still have these images, I have recently discussed this with another forum member.. for comparison over yellow fans and the UD5H hope this helps.

If you're on a set budget I'd look at an i5 4590k instead, just my two cents ^_^.

Yeah, but i got an 780Ti so it will be nice with the I7
Also then i can say fore sure that the cpu is not Bootle necking. Hate that word.

An i5 won't 'bottleneck' a 780ti. but if you're not on a budget to the point where getting an i7 means you can't have an SSD/proper amount of ram...

First of all please dont double post (two posts above) just use the edit button to add extra if you need to.

The i5 K series is more than enough for gaming. Personally Im not a fan of the look of the most recent Gigabyte boards. They look a little cheap to me.

Well i going with the i7 more also so i can do some hyper-v on it
Yeah don´t like the non black edition one but the Black edition i think look slick

I think you have chosen well
