Gigabyte in Ebenezer Mode

Point to make clear here is its been done on the quiet because SI's normally buy these boards in bulk but prices have not been changed.
So Gigabyte not only screwed customers, but also resellers, system builders, and everyone in between. Nice. Merry Christmas to them, not!

Oh now that I remembered!

Well, it would be nice if most youtube channels like OC3D talked/ranted about these kind of things companies do, well then the companies themselves wouldn't send products to the channels but it would help the general public know what it is beeing done in the background and put some pressure on the companies aswel, as it will be bad publicity and no one wants that

Personally although it would be nice to see it talked about, I wouldn't want channels to suddenly loose a bunch of items to review which could for some channels kill them off, if they cannot find something else to review.

What the hell gigabyte? So now we have gigabyte being like this on the motherboard side and evga cocking up gpu coolers because they couldnt be arsed to make the contact plate fit properly, or hell even redesign it just that little bit. I guess next year will be a weird one for these 2 companies.

Merry Christmas OC3D

Thanks for the heads-up TTL. When a company takes this kind of approach to increasing their margins there is only one person who pays..... the end user. Have Gigabyte provided a corporate response to any of the related news items posted out on ye olde interwebz? If they don't act promptly (and favourably!) they run the risk of alienating a large user base. I for one have only ever owned one G-byte product (G-Power Pro Cooler) and that was well back in the day.... I will definitely consider this when making future hardware purchasing decisions... be they GPU/MOBO....

Merry Christmas indeed!

Never been a fan of gigabyte products, they go and do this crap i hope they lose a lot of business cause of this. I bet they don't cause people don't seem to give a shit these days
