Its now back up to x16 after bios resetting which also means stock speeds on CPU. Just got 8475 3dmarks. Is this respectable on a stock e6300, 2gb of ram @ 5-5-5-15 and stock evga 8800gt?

edit:

It goes back to x1 everytime i overclock. Goes to x16 when bios is set to default

I dont know if this is related but...there are a few bottom fan motherboard headers that seem to not work/provide too low a voltage. So fans plugged in go slow or not at all.

Ok for future reference i have fixed it!!?!

I was using bios ^

Basically i went into bios and set southbridge voltage to a respectable level (1.7v) then went to the gpu bus speed. This is about 100 as default. Setting this to 110 actually set my card back to full speed :D

Im a happy...overclocked bunny again :D!!

Just got 11062 on 3dmark06 :D

Welcome to the P5B Deluxe. Try playing with various mch, southbridge, etc voltages. Also, 0610 BIOS worked for me (fixed this, because of the double boot).

EDIT: I see you set PCI-E to 110, this is also a known "fix" for some. Good work :)
