think I could get away with buying generic memory and saving a fiver or should i buy kingston?? i am not really overclocking at the mo and speed would not really be an issue because i am buying ddr400 but am running at 145 fsb (ddr290).

i dont really have money to blow so wanna know if it would be ok or should i just bite the bullet and buy it?

cheers guys :anisx:

Do either of them come with any warrenty or is there any difference in the timings that they run at? If not, just go for the cheaper one :)

If your not gonna push it then just get the cheap stuff.

However, if you are going to upgrade in the near future then consider getting the good stuff in preparation...

its ebuyer generic so ill just rma it if ne probs, they dont check it anymore.

timings are the same i think.

also any probs running generic with my kingston ddr333 i have at the mo??

You have DDR333, and you getting DDR400? Theres no problem, just the 400 will run at the lower speed of the 333 :)

that is correct, but the ddr333 isnt even running at full speed so shdnt be a prob.

It's less of a problem and more an argument of point; are you trying to add to your current total memory or replace it entirely? Regardless of stock speed they'll all run at the lowest spec stick in your system, and it is indeed not a problem :)

EBUYER...sadly now Crap

Royal Mail eh? Is that the standard UK postal system or is that like what UPS is to the US? hehe

royal mail is the standard over here as the government 'taxes' ne other service (up 2 a certain size) - ϋber monopoly (but may change) gives bill a run for the money with the anti-competitive shit

got my trackin code now. cept i cant track it til 2moz and its first class so it should arrive then. wierd lol
