Yeah I always enjoy seeing how people's tactics go on in mp. Its great to see what different people do in a fight!

When I first played cs, I had been playing halo for a while so it was a hard adjustment. Recoil and precision were new to me.

Yeah lol Halo's sort of just aim-compaims for you- go. Then win. Seriously CS:S is a WKD game although people spoil it either by cheating and hacking o accusing very good players of cheating and hacking. I just can't figure out which one annoys me the most!

Yeah I know what you mean. A lot of people out their are blind and will assume a player that knifes em in the back 25 times in a row is "good." Some people are too paranoid and check every guy (me), safer these days. I only point out cheaters when I know they cheat though. Aimbot is easy to spot unless it's on a slower setting. Speedhacking is more funny than anything. Weapon hacks like recoil can be hard to spot. Wallhacking is easy to spot, if you know wallhacks well, or if you have one to check. Some morons will shoot at the enemy through the map and think no one notices, funny shit. I always check everybody these days because a lot of people do hack despite what blind people say. I'll feel better when vac2 comes out.

Summed up my own antics there, too

it is the way that valve make sure u pay for the game. it is a small program that sits in your system tray and downloads and installs upgrades with no user interaction.

it also holds databases of "steam ID's" that you need to register to be able to operate steam.

some people love it and some hate it. personally i dont own it lol!!

Can someone explain to me the "steam" part of valves games like on CS and Half life 2.

I think steam is a good thing overall. Yeah its annoying waiting to play the game while it automatically downloads stuff. BUT then your game is always up to date. Valve DO fix a lot of glitches in the game and improve it. There has also been loads of maps and HL2:Deathmatch is awesome (released via steam!!)

Its good to know that your game is up to date without having to search for all trhose updates that come out.

BUT then its harsh on those who dont have internet. :-( And it annoys a hell of a lot of people who hate their stuff being "out of their control".

I like it tho - go Valve! :D
