Gaming: multi-monitor or no?

Not bad. Would you say you are getting acceptable performance out of it for multi-mon?

Well 2x 560ti versus 2x 680 is not question in terms of what will when, of course that doesn't even have to be said. But it does work. I can play most every game I want to in surround with them and be fine.

I do plan on going to a 780 Classified, was going to be 680 but decided to wait, and I'm sure I will get a noticeable improvement, if not just to have a better look inside the case.

When my Phanteks comes in I plan on take everything out and giving it an amazing cleaning, not to mention I need make some improvements to my side panel.

Sorry I meant no offense. Just merely curious as to the performance you are getting. I will stick with my 680 Classifieds until the GTX 800 series comes out. What stand or mount are you using with your monitors?

I no I realize that it sounded like I took offense to that. I really didn't, not at all. Actually I was pleasantly surprised that you had a great setup when I read it. The reason why I have two 560tis is only because when I started I bought one to build a gaming rig. I bought an expensive case that I would love, and got good parts for the inside. Of course I have progressed and learned more. After I had more money I bought another card, and SSD, and two more monitors, now I have three ^^.

In the near future I plan on upgrading to my HDDs to a proper 1tb (maybe two, but I really don't use the internal one for media, just games) as my current ones are older 320gb Samsung ones ripped from old computers (No need to waste a good HDD). I also would like to get another SSD, probably the Vector as it would look sex in my case. Then of course the 780. A bit after that I was thinking about moving on to Haswell, but I might go for the second generation as my current 2500k is lovely. Now of course this all means a lot of spare parts, which will all get funneled into a mini gaming rig.

Oh I forgot to answer your question. I have an Ergotech triple monitor stand. It was about 300 dollars and works great. There are others that work as well, but this one was at my local frys and wasn't too badly priced.

Hmm. My displays will all be 27" so I am extremely limited on what monitor stands will work for me I'm afraid. Do you know of any?

You can modify them if you already have a stand or can't find one that fits.

I have 3x 24inch monitors that run at 5760x1080 and I absolute enjoy gaming so much more with them. It helps with FPS games, if they support that, and in flight simulators which I mainly play. It's gotten me more and more back into PC modding & gaming because of it.

I also use the same computer for work so having 3 screens is a very useful tool as well.

Yes, Ergotech sells, I believe, an XL edition (which I think is a custom one that you can buy, it fits up to three 30inch) and I know that the WSGF has there own made by Ergotech, which is around $400 and supports up to 25.5" wide, which is most 27" monitors.

They do a lot with multi-monitor, so I would trust them when they said this stand is solid. Plus I've had a very positive experience with my stand, again made by Ergotech.

You just might have me sold on this one. The fourth accessory mount is very nice and the stand has minimal footprint. I really like it!

The stand is the same design as mine, let me tell you the specs on it. Around 18 inches wide by 16 inches deep. Which is roughly 450mm x 405mm. Now that stand could be smaller, but I doubt it. When thinking about the size of the monitors that you are putting up AND the room you will be saving by putting them up, I would say that is a very small footprint.

I will say it is quite heavy, and in this case it means quality. Also, I put little rubber bumpers the bottom of mine because I use a glass desk and it could slide a but when messing with it, nothing to big but something to note (on my particular one, which is like there regular triple monitor stand).
