Hey I'm new to this place. I've recently took in OC'ing as a new hobby and am always looking for a new resource. Hope I fit in!

Anyway my system is:

Asus P5N-D nForce 750i

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 2.66ghz Oc'ed @3.33ghz (VID 1.25)

Thermaltake Spin-Q Cooler (Hope to replace with Tuniq Extreme 120 soon)

Mushkin Blackline DDR2 Ram 5-5-5-12

eVGA GeForce 260 Core 216 896mb OC'ed @ 650 Core, 1400 Shaders, 1150 Memory (Should be able to get core higher)

Coolermaster CM690 case

Corsair 750w PSU

X-Fi Extreme Gamer sound

WD Caviar Black 1tb HDD

So basically if you guys know of any good threads on overclocking the CPU higher without going to high on Temps I would love you forever. Until then I am going to be searching about.

Welcome to the forums pal

As for overclocking a bit more, getting the Tuniq Tower and some decent fans should help you out with the temps. Your best bet for help though is creating a new thread, everyones chip is different, plus you can then ask about certain BIOS settings your unsure about and such. When I was new to clocking last year I asked for help with my E8400 and managed another 400MHz out of it following suggestions for other voltages and such.

Thanks for the welcome. Yea I posted a thread. I searched on here but not much of anything came up with multiple searches. Oh well hopefully someone out there has a similar set-up!
