Gaming HTPC cases

As above looking to move onto a HTPC case for my gaming machine. Can anybody recommend a case that would take full size GFX cards? I will be buying one of the new cards on release so will have to take full length cards.

I have looked at the Silverstone series which seem to be pretty roomy but would be handy if somebody had gone down the same path could offer some advice.

Max budget £150

Looks the part but looks a little too slim and i don't think it would take my Tagan PSU looking at the dimensions.

its not my type but it is nice and lian Li are a good case make, also it looks abit longer aswell for a fullsize GPU if you whent with the silverstone you could use the spare cash to get some extra parts maybe a blu-ray drive or even a better GPU (unless you have these) if so the lian Li looks solid mate

I recommend a Silverstone LC-17. If you remove one HDD rack, you could fit any graphics card in there on the market IMHO. Amazing case aswell.

How about a Shuttle SX58H7? Not sure about the noise really, some say it's ok, some think it can be noisy at times. It comes with the MB and a decent CPU cooler.

I own a Shuttle SP35P2 and I am very happy with it. They do take some time to get the BIOS versions right, but they get it eventually.

Any of the two Shuttle systems above can take up to GTX285 (which is more efficient then the GTX280, even if a bit more powerfull), even if the PSU seems small, they are specifically built to power high end graphics cards, with the exception of dual GPU cards like the GTX295 and HD4870X2. I can confirm however that the GTX295 (especially the single PCB one) works in the SX58H7.

No not keen on the Shuttles tbh, plus i would rather have my 800w Tagan in the case rather than the shuttle PSU. I need something that will fit in a rack and looks similiar to my amp like the Lian Li & Silverstone series. The case i have had in the lounge a HAF932 is to dominating for the living room.

The cooler is the very popular Artic Freezer Pro 7. The overall size is 107 x 96.5 x 126.5 mm.

You can mount it whichever way you want, but I choose to forward to heat out of the back 80mm. You can squeeze in another 80mm fan right above the CPU cooler (Mount it first). The airflow is really good.

You can also mount an additional 2 x 80mm fans at the front of the case, which draws in cool air from the bottom of the front.

Cheers for that :)
