ATI-wise, what can of card is sufficient for a "very enjoyable" experience (now guys, dont go nuts, i'm trying to draw the line as low as possible)... I know the X800 GTO2 can do this quite well, even without its overclocking capability... how far lower can u go?

Whoa, ok, I just noticed the X1600 XT card is cheaper than the X800 GTO2? As well as all the X1x00's up until the X1800... any particular reason why thats the case?

My X1600pro runs everything quite well. ATIs cards are pretty good all round. Just the drivers = :banghead:.

I've been led to believe they're more cost effective than the nVidia counterparts...

Feel free to enlighten me though, if they're not, i'm open to suggestions...

ATI has better qaulity in games but nvidia is known for pulling out the madd fps
