Latly I just noticed the price of the ripjaw 2000 CL9 4GB kits is amazing, only £67.95 on ariapc. Has anyone tried it yet? Their Trident 2000 CL9 6GB kits seem to have nice reviews on some forums. Dont know if their ripjaw kits rock also.

From what I have read in various forums these contain Elpida BBSE ics.

People have managed to get them to 2000mhz @ 8-8-8-27 not sure how stable that is in terms or prime95 etc, but their good sticks all the same.

I would post some links but havent got enough posts to be able to do that yet. :(

:)

I've been tempted to buy some of these for my X48 board. Would be tempted to put more voltage through them then though.

The chis doesn't look like need high voltage, but I'm curious about how it erform on X48 board. I just ordered the 2000 CL9 4GB kits for my P7P55D. I would post my result after few test. Have you tried it on your x48 board?? :)

I haven't bought them yet but am still definitely thinking about the ones you just bought (2000Mhz).

I would really appreciate it if you let me know how they get on anyway even though you are using a P55.

:)Sorry for my late reply. The kits are cool. I'm currently running at 1600 CL6-6-6-18 with 1.63 Vdimm, 1.2V IMC. I haven't try high frequency overclocking yet. I dont know how it would perform on X48, but I would recommand this kits if you don't have any other preference. The pity thing is that these kits are kind of shortage at this moment.

I nearly bought them but went with the Geil 2133MHz kit that's also designed for P55.

They aint a perfect match for X48 as they wont run at the full 2133MHz but I've got it running rock solid stable at 1780MHz 7-8-7-25.

I think thats the motherboard rather than the ram tho Bungral.

Yeah I'd definitely agree the bloody picky ****er...

Reason I'm fairly sure is that when clocked lower, it still hits lower than XMP spec timings which would imply the chips are still good.
