Mav is that on your new stock unit??

No Fatty mate that's an R507 unit - thing is the volts arent really required for a stable overclock - the volts are required to boost the temps up so I can get the FSB up lol.

Most volts I like to see on a duallie is 1.67 for benching and 1.65 for 24/7 - at those volts, the temps would still in the minus.

Also take into consideration that the tests I was running meant each core was running at 3.4Ghz fully loaded, thats the equivalent of a MACH cooling two FX55's fully overclocked/overvolted :O .

Thanks dazbooys for your help M8 in telling me to keep burning, have posted on forums thanking you getting me to 2.9GHz on my Opty 165 and now in 11th place on the CPC bench tests.

I will keep up what you have said as this is working a treat, so next aim is to try and get 3.0GHz out of the chip.

Keep up the good work on the FX60 M8.

Right if 1.7v can be pushed thru an X2, I'm in n o fear mode about my FX55 :P

Worked it out if i have the VCore @ 1.65v and the core speed is 3600, im gonna be pushing 184w of heat out using the stock multi lol.

I'm not yet, still havn't got my unit back from Gray :(

I'm just working out how much voltage I can push thru the blighter :D I will get 3600 and possibly 3800 with it tho I hope. I know it WILL do 3500 stable.

Boardy's is a WK13 FX55 - as fast as a WK16 FX57, cold bug free and ready to rock and roll!!

Just needs the right cooling as Boardy has pointed out will be a week or two yet........ the poor guy is getting so close to an uber rig - I can smell the anticipation :)

Hopefully the project won't die out when its nearly finished like Gollums.

Thats some crazy numbers memtioned there Boary.
