woah....wdnt u rather ave an x2??

I would personally...yes.

The X2 would be very close to the FX-55 and its multi-cored therefore multi-threaded. So advanteages all round :D

yeah BUT therer no software to take advantage of a multi threaded cpu yet maybee in a years time....

im holding off until they get faster :)

Until what get faster?? They will always get faster. The X2 nearly match the FX-55...how fast do you want them??

Multi-threading comes into play when you assign certain tasks to one CPU: leaving the other one free to be utilised. For instance you can rip a DVD while playing a game at the same team. Tell me that aint good? If they get cheaper then I will buy one! :)

I'd much prefer the FX-57 over any of the X2's... Pure single core pwnage! The X2's aren't going to have good game/software support forever, fuck all that, I want something that gives me instant improvements :D

Oh I agree with the gaming thing, but if you want to have something that will do heavy apps on one core AND game on the other then you can't beat an X2! :worship:

Unfortunately?!?!?! What's unfortunate about agreeing with me? ;) lol

Lots of things....;)

Nah I'm joking chap. Just I would like to try out an X2 for myself...never had a HT Intel and would like to try multiple threades out :)
