Hi my name is Mickee from the Philippines, this is my first worklog here in OC3D I hope you guys like it
PC Specs:
CPU: Core i5 6600k
Motherboard: MSI Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon
GPU: MSI GTX 950 OC 2X Armor
RAM: Avexir Blitz 1.1 DDR4 RED LED
SSD: Avexir S100 Series 128GB RED LED
PSU: Bitfenix Fury 550G Gold
Chassis: Tecware Alpha
Cooling system : Thermaltake Pacific Water cooling components.
Case fans: ID Cooling
The base case is the budget friendly Tecware Alpha
Disassembly
For the front panel, I removed the wire mesh as well as the honeycombed mesh beneath it. To give it a new look I made some cut outs from a 3mm thick clear plexiglass using a Dremel Motosaw.
Side panels painted with silver.
I also started painting the case with matte black then mounted the ID cooling fans on the front panel.
This will be a weathered themed mod so I started with a few details on the front panel.
Now I felt different about the side panels which came with the case so I decided to ditch them an make new ones from cutting and bending 3mm plexiglass.
To mount the new side panel on the back side of the case I will be using sliders
this way the back will still be accessed with ease for cable management.
I will be back with more in just a few
