Well the second artic blast from Canada came down today and it hit our neck of the woods around 5. We where right in the middle of it hitting us on the road Its dropped about 35F outside from the 60 it was earlier. About 11 everything was frozen outside and they expect it to stay this way till about monday or tuesday due to another wave of cold hitting us either tomorrow or sunday with more rain and freezing temps. Yay

Imo, if it's gonna be cold in our area, it should just snow, go all out or don't go at all lol.

Its been extremely warm this year up here in Toronto, usually it should be well below -10 C, but it has been above 5 and has only gone below 0 1 time. It also has snowed twice, each snow falling going on for like, a few minutes? then the snow stops, Global Warming

Makes me glad I already finished up my 2 years of PE But ya, apparently it IS possible that it'll snow in the area in these next couple days Granted, they'll only be flurries that'll melt right away, but it'll be cool to see the first snow here since, I think it was 1995

Seems strange don`t it. When u`r maybe a little unfamiliar with Tx, the first thoughts u have of the place is.. well like a western movie.. deserty landscapes and always 100+ temps.

The strangest realization is, it can be snowing-temps near lake Texoma, and a week later 80-90 degrees somewhere near the alamo.

Then u look at Tx on a map and compare it with say France and it all seems a little less strange when u think of France`s north/south temps/conditions.

I have to be honest, I found it hard to believe it was snowing b4 in a place I`d been to a handful of months earlier, and there were north winds going on taking temps well into the 90s.

Bizarre, it`s 33 degrees in Gunter atm, that`s colder than cardiff atm I believe! (I`m not good on F/C conversions).

We're pretty warm here for January, usually we should be getting sub-zero temps but it's like 12°C. Having said that we never get stupid cold

We're having a crazy winter here... It's 7:08AM here and it's 51*F and the middle of January.

Back in my hometown of Spokane its 3*F, that's what I'm more used too

Yea dude. Check out my first Artic Blast thread on Bjorn and youll see where i posted pictures of having about an inch of snow on my black porch. It was white lol. We got a light freeze last night but its still raining pretty hard. According to the rain gauge weve gotten about 4"s of rain since 3PM yesterday. I dont think were gonna be freezing hard like the news said cause there is just to much water. No snow in this one though damn. It IS 33F outside though. I have to keep the server and my main PC on to stay warm lol.

Here in Reno Nevada its cold too, it was 8 Fahrenheit this morning. I forgot to let the water drip and now my water pipes all froze.. This sucks without water.

Another thing during winter my gas/elect bill is $269 but in summer when its 100F even with the cooler on 24/7 my bill is $60. Dam natural gas is cutting into me buying comp parts..

Its getting a bit windy in the UK but I think anyone south of berwick will be lucky if they see snow this year, let alone a temperature below -5

Where do you live? Here in Texas people think its hot all the time but really it gets real cold most of the time in the winter.

I think the last time it snowed here was 19 years ago dude. I would've remembers if it was in 95 :O

haha yea its like this year they said it would have been the first white Christmas since 82 here in DFW. I was like, dude it was a white Christmas last year for us haha. Stupid weather people.
