Front panel connectors :(

Just replaced my motherboard and ran into the issue on the front panel connectors I can't figure how you know which is postive which is negative because both cables are black and have no white line . If anyone can help me it would be very much appreciated.

On power and reset it doesn't matter. All you are doing is shorting a circuit.

With HDD LED and PWR LED it does matter, so you may have to try it in both positions. You won't cause any damage by getting it wrong, the LEDs just won't work.

Having looked again it seems that one of the positions is marked with an arrow. That could be the +
