front panel audio on ultra-d??

i need to hook up my front audio ports on my case so i can use some headphones lol

i dont have a manual with my mobo so i dont know/where the connectors are

can someone tell me where/which ones they are?

i dont use onboard sound btw if that helps:sleep:

dunno tbh,if there is i cant say ive noticed them

its a sound blaster audigy 4,jus so you know

edit:hahaha i just noticed i must of missed a forum section and put this in intel by mistake rofl

Yep I have the same problem, I run a Creative X-FI XtremeMusic and cant see anywhere to rig my front ports upto :mad:
 
Same with me. I did a good bit of research, but was not able to find any simple way to get my Audigy2ZS to hook up to my external audio ports. For me it works out because I can plug my headphones into my speakers, and I got an extension cable to run the mic round to the card in the back.
 
There should be some sort of audio cable inside of your case, should be connected to the front or so. Route that out the back of your case (you lose a PCI slot with this unfortunately) and hook it up to the appropriate connectors on your sound card and you should be able to use the front ports. You do NOT plug anything onto the motherboard. I'll post some pics of mine later if you want, just that I have to eat dinner now.
