Fresh leaks on the R9 295X2 (Now Pictured)

I'm very interested in this card, albeit only from how it performs cooling wise and whether there will be third party cards.

Reviews are up :D

Apparently it is only going to cost €1099 :o A third of the price of what the Titan Z will be.

Bit-Techs review is now up and the performance looks pretty good, with nearly double the scores of a Nvidia GTX 780Ti or Titan Black in most games looking at it.

Power consumption though at load is nearly 675w for the test system they use and the temperatures seem really good.

Overclocking seems abit poor but that will vary depending on each card.

Will wait now for TTL's video.

Interesting! I've seen many prices today $1499 (£895) or €1099 (£905) one thing is for sure it's a kick up nVidias bottom!

Having read plenty of reviews today the prevailing conclusion amongst all is that AMD should have gone with a 240mm radiator or at least provided it with push/pull fan config.

Yep, the reviews I read say the same. Temps are good but the card is still loud because of the 120mm rad. The card itself though is a beast, still cheaper to buy 2x aftermarket 290s on their own though.

Hopefully EK makes a waterblock for it, i'd like to see how much better it can do fully under water.

It's amazing how AMD and nvidia managed to make us accept these ridiculous prices by just having a previous model for an even more ridiculous price.

I know, but for a dual card that is pretty good, remember Nvidia released the Titan for $1000 and that was a single chip card. Dual cards are always expensive and not worth it over 2x single cards. :)

Jesus, someone fire the marketing team.

The 690/7990 released both for far less than 1000 euros. Those weren't worth it at the time.
Actually the price is rather similar to the TitanZ if you consider the price of the single GPUs. The TitanZ is 3x the price of a Titan, the 295x2 is about 2.5x the price of a 290x. Doesn't make either price any better though.

Looking at reviews the 295x2 compared to 780ti SLI is the new performance king(overall as some games are biased). AMD has a winner here. Price still sucks though.. Wonder if the fall of bitcoin mining and such will ever cause this card to drop in price further?

After looking at the reviews the R9 295X2 looks like the best dual GPU card to date. It's a shame that it cost's so much.

There is actually a reason to get this, over just 2 R9 290X, its much cooler and quieter.

However, for the price, you could buy 2 R9 290X, and build a custom loop to cool them... and then they would be much faster, cooler and quieter.

Still, this looks awesome. Sadly, I don't think it will cause Nvidia fanboys to change their mind, considering for the price you can buy 2 780Ti's and whilst they are much louder, hotter and slower in certain cases, they will ignore that.
