Free Hotspot Software?

As the title suggests, I'm looking for a free program that will alllow me to wirelessly share an internet connection from a 3G dongle. I know there are tons of programs, but what do you guys recommend? As usual, thanks for the help. Always apprecieated!

Back when i had the crappy 3G internet dongle form 3, I remember that i used Virtual router for windows to share the connection to my phone, but i also remember having problems with it but i think that the problems were related to the signal in my house

Appreciate the reply, I've tried virtual router, but the machine it would be running on is a laptop with an i3. It was very slow and my phone failed to connect to it. My phone is a Lumia 520 is it matters.

From what i remember, in that program there is a box that lets you choose what connection to share.

Have you selected the right connection to share?
Alos have you tried running the program as an administrator?
