Free-AVG

Any1 using this ? I've found it to be more than adequate for people.

However, I have a sneaky-sneaky that, with the advent of version 9, it may not be free.

I've tried most Antivirus programs, mainly for testing.

I tried AVG and Antivir and both seemed really good for free programs :)

I'm using Kaspersky AV 2010 on my own system and find it's really good and isn't really a memory hog :D

I know loads of people who use AVG and they haven't complained about it, if they had to pay for it I bet they would stop using it tho :(

I've been using the free security essentials, now idea what the capture rate is on it. But its a real small footprint.

*PC World sales guy takes over*

"What you really want is Norton 360, it really does take all the hassle out of internet security! Who wants to spend time worrying about identity theft and virus's, when Norton can do all that for you, giving you time to do what you want to do on your PC!"

On that note, AVG is alright, going downhill these days, might move to Avast tonight when I do some maintenance on the server
