Nice little rig mate, and at a sweet price to boot.

Thx mate! Picked up a 19" Sceptre widescreen TFT and Eclipse 2 keybd to go with it... I figured I'd probably slit my wrists if I were forced to use one of my crappy arse 17" Dell CRT's that look like poo.

LOL it'd certainly be a shock going from your big 'A' 30" Dell in comparison. Eclipse keyboard too :yumyum: :worship:

Pix will be forthcoming as soon as the parts roll on in. I will need to spend all wednesday morning cleaning off my desks and figuring out where I will be putting this one.

i have some space on my desk in leicestershire!!!

£720 is still a incredible price for a system of that power.

Nice setup there though fraggles.

Thanks Ham, I think it will make me happy in the pants when all said and done :)

And can someone tell me what the max multi on the E6300 is? Isn't it 6?

x6800 - x11

e6700 - x10

e6600 - x9

e6400 - x8

e6300 - x7

Had to work backwards there :p

With a multi of 7, you'll deffo have to work on a large mem divider - either that or buy some mass expensive PC2-8000+ ram

Wirelessly posted (LG Fusic: Opera/8.01 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/2.0.4719/1372; en; U; ssr))

thx guys. itll be interesting to see how well this memory does and how well it plays with the ab9.

As long as it's..

-From a good Manufacturer (Brands that come to mind would be G.Skill, Crucial Ballistix, and some Mushkin models)

-It's D9

You're almost guarunteed DDR2-1000.. which is 500MHz FSB 1:1. I havn't seen too many results on the AB9 but if it hits 450FSB I'll be impressed.

Unfortunately I didn't budget enough money to get supreme memory like I would have wanted, but I didn't exactly skimp out and get value ram either. It'll be middle of the road. DDR-1000 would be nice, wishful thinking I would imagine, but you never know :)

Okie dokie, here's a few shots for now. I plan on taking some more tomorrow or the day after once the CCFL's come in and I get a chance to install them and then do some real wire management.

Currently have it clocked up to 2.45ghz from the stock 1.86. I'll continue to work on it but I think that's nearing it's max OC.
