To be honest I really wish they made an Arc Midi window instead. A window doesn't exactly go along with the noise dampening of the r3
 
Well personally this will allow me to run my PC with a side panel... At the moment I run withouth because I like to take the occasional side glance inside my PC.. :)

Bah, sound dampening shmound dampening - it's really not all that, guys. No different to a normal case, I would wager, at least.
 
No Mini/Midi window side panel in the future

fractal design does NOT have Mini/Midi side-window panels in the works. an email
campaign may help sway their need for production. i got my email back with
dissappointment that they are not looking to help the Mini/Midi cases for window
side panels.

Actually they are making an Arc Midi window (no idea about the mini). A guy on the Aria forums emailed them in October of 2011 asking them if a side panel window was going to be available, and they said yes. Another member asked about the R3 and they got a similar reply, and as we all know the R3 now has a window, so fingers crossed the Arc window will hopefully be released soon too.

Fractal Design said they were releasing a window panel for the Midi before it was even released.

It was actually one of the reasons I bought the case when it was released.

I doubt very much it'll happen now.

i recieved an email this morning from Fractal Design, stating they have no plans to produce
the Arc Midi windowed-side panel.. Mini, or the Core series as well....
so, email them pronto with your wishlist of a windowed-side panel...

Any idea if they're doing the white one? From experience, buying a black panel and trying to paint match is a massive pain in the arse!
 
NCIX can order parts from Fractal Design. i got a spare front panel, side panel, and roof panel
from them. the cali office is down the street from FD. they already have the panels i ordrered
on NCIX-US site.
you can order the right panel (non-fan) and use it too panels are switchable. or make
a smaller window or different window placement.

yes that have announced and on there website have pictures of a white side panel. just gotta figure out where i can buy them from now for when i get my white R3
