Last part of my rendering build

Well it's the last thing I have to decide for my build.. so which PSU do you think I need? I will probably overclock to 4.2ghz maybe.

CPU: INTEL Core i7-5820K 3.30GHz 2011-3 BOX
CPU COOLER: Noctua NH-D15
MOTHERBOARD: ASUS X99-A
RAM: 4x HyperX 8GB Fury DDR4 2666MHz CL15 HX424C15FB/8
HDD: WD Black 2TB 7200rpm 64MB SATA3
SSD: SAMSUNG 850 PRO 256GB
GPU: GIGABYTE GV-N970G1 GAMING-4GD GTX970 4GB GDDR5 OC PCIE
Case: Fractal Design Define R5 Black Window

Within a max 120-130 euro budget.

P.S. CPU cooler suggestions are also welcome!

I wouldn't use the Noctua unless you are really paranoid about leaking. I would go with this.

Really, even though it performs worse and costs more?

With the fans on high it performs better.

But it's not all about total overall performance, is it?

AIOs don't block ram ports and don't make it really hard to work inside your PC. Noctua NH do, I know I have owned a couple.

Massive great air coolers are not worth it any more IMO.

I'm sure 2600RPM fans on a D15S would destroy the entire chart but realistically that isn't a valid solution for anyone blessed with the gift of hearing. With the fans at what probably is still over 1000RPM the Raijintek doesn't perform very well at all. Considering acoustics both on load and at idle the Noctua decimates any 240/280mm AIO, there is plenty of independent data out there to back that up.

Noctua's are probably the nicest coolers to mount there has ever been, if two screws and some paste is too much for the occasional time you need to access your socket then building computers probably isn't for you. The D15S resolves all memory clearance issues while barely compromising performance. The only major consideration would be if the socket/PCI placement respective to each other causes issues (not the case for the OP's board). Other than to pursue a different aesthetic I find it hard to advise against going with a huge Noctua for a high performance rendering rig. Especially considering it will probably be running for extended periods and it's critical that it is quiet under load.

An EVGA 650 P2 would be my choice of PSU, or a 750 for overkill although it's unnecessary with only an air cooled 970.

I'm quite aware of how nice Noctua coolers are and how easy they are to mount but they are a pain in the rear when it comes to accessing your motherboard. It's bad enough when you have one bank of ram to contend with but with X99 there are two.

I guess it all comes down to opinion really. I've been using AIOs since the very dawn of the things and apart from one leak (Coolit Eco, so now I avoid any square block AIOs) I've had absolutely no issues. It makes cleaning the internal components far easier than when you have a massive lump of alu and billet in front of you. They also put a lot of strain on the motherboard...

But yes, all pure opinion. He asked, I answered. Up to him really :)
